Peace Pattern Ministry I am a Gay Man This book is my interpretation and perspective about being a black gay man finding peace and the creator. I am going to be defining words to help with the understanding of this book. What is Peace? Peace is for anyone, and everyone deserves peace. If you don’t believe me why do we need a vacation or want to get away from it all? The answer is we deserve and want peace. Peace is defined as: · Freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions · Harmony in personal relations Merriam-Webster (2021). Peace is our normal way of being. First, we have to be aware of what peace is, and how peace relates to who, and what we are as individuals. Peace is different for each person. Some people may find their peace in a variety of ways such as: Art Art can be used to relax a person or can be used to help them find their peace within with pictures, sculptures, paintings, and drawings. Music Some people can find their peace within with songs and different genres of music, from Classical to Rock and Roll. Peace Pattern Ministry: I am a peace minister and a gay man, and when I look at the world today and see the struggles of people who want to live in peace, and are led by religions that don't cater to the peace that they are looking for, I feel the need to help in a peaceful way. I have been through the religious struggle of trying to find the freedom of self and creator. When being a gay black man in a religion that shuns such ideas of relationship, it is difficult to find peace. Today I found a freedom and a relationship with the Creator based on truth being the Creator and me being created. I live now in a peaceful understanding of mind, body, and spirit. I want to help others find that inner peace with the creator being truth so they can live their best lives and be their best selves.
